Nadege is a founding member of UHUK and has been involved in assisting in a variety of capacities over the years serving as interim Treasurer and in November 2012 was elected to her current position upon her return to live in Haiti in November 2012.
Nadege was born in Aquin, in the south of Haiti and moved to France at age 7 with her parents. In 2000, Nadege came to the UK with the purpose of learning English but ended up living and studying in London for over 10 years, as well as studying for a year in Spain and in Scotland.
Nadege has been making regular trips to her native Haiti over the last few years, including a year working with an international organisation in 2008 both in Gonaives and Port au Prince. Nadege loves children and has the privilege of visiting our sponsored schoolchildren and providing regular updates. Nadege is fluent in Kreyol, French, English and Spanish, and is hoping to get a decent level in Japanese someday.
